Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals

Baptism is the beginning of life in the Church. Requests for baptisms are welcomed by the minister, who should be approached before a date is fixed.
Adult baptisms for those who have not previously been baptised can be arranged.

Hoddesdon Methodist Church is licenced for weddings. Those who wish to marry in Church and make their commitments in the presence of God should contact the minister. The blessing of weddings can also take place.

Funerals and thanksgiving services for the lives of someone who has died can also be held in the church. Sometimes these may precede a cremation or burial at a crematorium or cemetery. Alternatively, the service may be held entirely at the crematorium or cemetery. Please contact the minister.
